The dewatering of flocculated high density slurry presents a significant challenge to most mining industries. new technologies treat require consistent and robust flocculation method in order enter the market tailings management. slurry, however, due its complexity, is always be undertaken appropriately evaluate performance correctly. This paper probes complexity by using torque-controlled mixing technique demonstrate influence feed properties, polymer type, dosage, conditions on performance. study shows that flocculant should dosed at optimal range achieve highest A full dosage responsive curve including under overdosage critical slurries flocculants. such as speed, time, geometry impeller affect efficacy. It was found sensitive solids content, water chemistry, clay activity.
